Mark Kelly the owner and manager of Kelly Garden Services a company based in Ashford Co. Wicklow asked me to design and build a responsive website for his garden maintenance business. Having already started marketing his business he had organised some business cards and fliers for the local area. However he found that every one he talked to asked about his website and so felt at a disadvantage for not having one.
This is a typical brochure web site which allows potential clients to view the type of work which Mark and his company carry out. It uses a projects page which provides examples of gardens cared for by Mark. It was important for Mark to be able to easily edit the site himself and so I recommended WordPress. I advised Mark to add a gardening blog to his web presence so that he could offer advice to all the Wicklow gardeners out there about the best time to do particular jobs in the garden.
This is the second WordPress website that Ridge Design have designed and built for Mark. The first one designed and built in January 2013 had good structure and content underpinned by a nice clean design. However this existing website was not responsive. In 2015 Mark requested that the website be updated so it could easily viewed on the full range of devices. Having used WordPress to build the first site this was a quick and straightforward process.
