Nutrition with Joan Moloney

We designed and built a responsive WordPress website for Joan Moloney a nutritionist based in South Co. Dublin. Joan had an existing WordPress website with good content which featured advice and tips on nutrition.  It also contained a large selection of nutritious and delicious recipes.  Her existing website built several years ago was not responsive and did not work at all on mobile phones or tablets.

The brief was to design a clean modern responsive website.  Most of the existing pages remained but the menu structure changed to improve navigation through the website.  The new website gives a clear message to visitors about the services which Joan provides.  The links throughout the website have been used carefully to ensure an intuitive user experience.

The finished website performs two distinct functions for Joan’s nutrition business.  The first is to be a brochure website for the business which highlights her expertise in the area of nutrition. The second is to be a valuable resource of food knowledge and recipes for her clients. Some recipes are available to all visitors to the website while others are password protected.

The website was built using WordPress as the ability to update the website easily and regularly was a high priority.  Joan already updates her website blog regularly with hints and tips about nutrition and will continue to do so.   Joan will also be adding recipes to the website on a regular basis.  We worked closely with Joan on a template which would work for her recipes and gave detailed instructions on how it could be duplicated.  This was essential to ensure a consistent unified look throughout the entire website.
