This responsive website was designed and built for a swimming and water-polo club based in Clontarf, Co. Dublin. I built the website using WordPress as the ability to easily update the content of the website was essential. Users can easily navigate the website through the left hand menu which is anchored in place. The user reads the page content to the right of the menu by scrolling up and down. The layout is clean and simple which ensures a good user experience.
The website has information on the club and it’s history as well as membership and training times etc. The website also has a “Members” area where only registered club members can view photographs and results of swimming competitions. The club has a lot of junior members so this “Members” area was essential.
The committee use the website to keep members up to date with training times and fixtures information. The club secretary updates these most weeks. The club is always looking for new members and the website encourages this. WordPress was ideal as the club secretary can easily amend the pages. This website was originally built in 2015 and has been regularly updated with news posts and photographs ever since.
