Potters Point is an exclusive member’s only holiday resort located in Brittas Bay in Co. Wicklow. We were approached by the owners of the resort to design and build a new WordPress website for the business.
The website acts as a brochure for the resort by highlighting the top class amenities on offer. Potters Point is very much family oriented and the website evokes a sense of the fun, freedom and memories of a summer spent by the sea. The resort prides itself on the beauty of its surroundings, the luxurious mobile homes for sale and the exclusive private beaches. Residents become members of an exclusive club and the website design reflects this aspect of the resort.
Luckily for me such a beautiful place invariably provides stunning photos both of the resort itself and the fantastic activities designed to please every member of the family. The very clean, modern design lets the photos do the talking for the resort by using beautiful full page sliders and a simple page navigation.
The website also acts as an “estate agent” for the resort. The mobile homes are owned by the individual residents and naturally from time to time they will come up for sale as family priorities change. Whenever a mobile home comes up for sale it will be added to the “Mobile Home” page on the website. This top section of the page features an aerial photo of the resort with red pins and blue pins. The red pins denote mobile homes for sale, the blue pins show vacant sites for rent. A full listing of the mobile homes for sale appears at the bottom of the page too.
While most areas of the resort are members only, there is a 9 hole golf course which is open to the public. The page for the golf course provides information to the public at large about the green fees to be paid and the contact and location details for the golf course.
This was a lovely website to work on and I look forward to being involved with the maintenance and updating of this website into the future.
